Character Designer/Animator
Peter Mansky
About
Peter Mansky is a character designer and 2D animator. Very early on in life he developed an obsession for all things animated that never wavered as he grew older. He attended California College of the arts in Oakland where he earned a BFA degree in animation. Some of his major influences include artists like Charles Schulz, Robert Crumb and Matt Groening as well as filmmakers like Charlie Chaplin and Stanley Kubrick. He has an innate comedic sense that plays strongly into his work. This can be seen in the personality and caricature conveyed in his character designs, as well as his precise sense of timing as seen in his animation. He is deeply passionate about the animation pipeline and the film-making process in general and it shows in every project he undertakes.
